First Project

For out first assignment I would like you to grade the doors image. Of all three images I think that one looks appealing and is well designed. I chose three different ideas for the images making no two alike. I chose the advertising design just to try something new. I really liked the mold idea I had for the fruit too, but the doors turned out the best I think with the different colors and black and white areas in my image.

Photographers Who Inspire Me.

1.  Erik Almas. His images are stunning. They are clear and tell a story behind each. Under "Design"is one of my favorite images of his. It is the image of the whale carrying the red dressed woman in the sky.  http://www.erikalmas.com/
2.   Scott Rhea. I love his underwater images. Each photograph he takes has its own unique theme and in the art world that is important. I think he does an amazing job with creativity.  http://www.scottrhea.com/underwater.html
3.  Art Streiber. His portraits I believe are the best. In each one he creates an image for the person told in the photograph. By looking at his images you can instantly tell what he is trying to show the viewer. http://www.artstreiber.com/flash.html
4.  Bill Cash. His photographs are so crisp and clean they almost look unreal. The variety of car advertisement photographs shows he can work with photoshop to make it look like the motorist is actually driving the vehicle. His photographs are breathtaking. http://billcashphoto.com/
5.  Dave Hill. His Adventure series is what caught my eye the most. Each image told a unique story relating (or not relating) to the previous image. The images were flawless and showed a wide variety of excitement in it. http://www.davehillphoto.com/adventure/#1
6. Jeremy Cowart. All of his images held a wide variety of emotions from sadness, utter joy, or bone-wrenching fear. http://jeremycowart.com/portfolio/
7.  Joey L. I admire his images due to the fact I would love to travel to other countries some day to photograph their culture. His images portray the culture of the Bodi tribe. The expressions in each image blow me away. http://www.joeyl.com/personal/
8.  Patrik Giardino. His action images caught my eye. In each image you can see the measures he took to get that perfect shot and to make it look even better. His work is inspirational. http://www.giardinophoto.com/#/ACTION/book1/1/thumbs
9. Romain Laurent. Each of his pieces of work portrays a story. This was my favorite story. I loved the idea of the surfer "surfing" through downtown. Creative and genius!

10. David Krovblit. His scene photography was hilarious. Each image was crisp yet seemingly unreal. The scenes were goofy and unrealistic but he made them look as if they were realistic. http://www.krovblit.com/portfolio/large-productions-3/
